Dr Lucy Howarth, Art Historian, will talk about the extraordinary life and work of Marlow Moss, an unconventional but seminal British Modernist who has been almost forgotten in her own country despite her major contribution to art history. Moss’ work is currently on display at TATE Britain and Lucy’s monograph on her will be published by Ashgate.

The Wilson Lectures address ideas around culture, humanity and the role of the museum as a place for both research and entertainment. This series of lectures focuses on the nature of the exhibition across the visual and creative disciplines, with particular reference to the function of research within exhibition making as a practical activity that is not simply the domain of Fine Art.
