The Everyday Press was started originally as part of a research PhD program at Kingston University UK. It has evolved into an independent, artist-driven publisher producing a variety of titles. Books are distributed worldwide through Distributed Art Publishers in North America and Anagram Books in Europe. Some publications of the press are more punctual and relate to particular events and exhibitions and as such are sometimes produced and released in relatively limited quantities for a defined geographical area.
The Everyday Press is present at regular international art book events as way to publicize and distribute its titles: Offprint Paris and London, New York artbook fair, Missread Berlin, ASP fair in London ICA etc.
Lead by Arnaud Desjardin, the team of collaborators and contributors associated with the press has been varied and is always changing, principal designers have been Fraser Muggerridge, Pedro Cip Proenca, Leonard Mabille and Emily Benton. Current design editor is Zoe Quentel.
