Hardwick Campus: 4-17 February 2019

Breathe Fire, artists in conversation: Wednesday 6th February, 5-6pm.

Incendiary is a multi-site exhibition featuring 25+ artists’ responses to the firing-up of industrial incinerators, airborne toxins & combustion fallout on human & nonhuman ecosystems. It asks, how can art contribute to enviro-political dialogue, and inspire resilience?

Hotspots by Alison Harper can be found on the perimeter fence of Hardwick Campus on St Paul’s Road. Hotspots is a collection of decorated red bicycle wheels, representing the amount of nitrous dioxide present in certain pollution ‘hotspots’.

Incendiary continues in the campus cafe with a diptych of digitally printed fabric banners by Liz Blum, Ash & Feathers and Gauge, 2018
