Love St Peter’s, Love St Paul’s project announced!

We are very excited to announce the launch of Love St Peter’s, Love St Paul’s, an arts project co-created with Hardwick Gallery, Take A Part and an Arts Action Group of residents from the communities of St Peter’s and St Paul’s that aims to discover, support and develop creative practice in the area.

Between June and September 2017 a series of creative workshops will take place including film-making, local history, baking and clay-making. The artwork produced will be displayed at Hardwick Gallery at the University of Gloucestershire in September 2017.

Tom Goddard is working with Gardner’s Lane Primary School to create the Museum of St Peter’s and St Paul’s; Samantha Jones (Homebaked Anfield) is an activist baker and will explore the history of the Cheltenham Dripper and work with residents to revive the local delicacy; Jack Price will work with young people from CCP’s Bramah House to script and film a mockumentary; and Scott Farlow is working with local ceramicist Kate Anderson to facilitate mobile workshops using locally dug clay.

Love St Peter’s, Love St Paul’s is a MEANTIME project funded by Arts Council England, the University of Gloucestershire, and St Peter’s & The Moors Big Local.
